Disney geeks
hey guys i just launched a new podcast called “disney geeks” where a talk about all things disney. you can listen to it on spotify or click the link below
Aloha ‘oe Aloha ‘oe
In translation of the Hawaiian song “aloha ‘oe” : Farewell to thee, farewell to thee, the charming one who dwells in the shaded bowers, one fond embrace, ere I depart, until we meet again.
it has been a crazy first year of high school (especially since the last quarter was at home) but it has come to an end. most of my favorite memories took place in drama. we had a lot of fun there. it was really funny how almost every time I would be the only one who was willing to be the first to present when it came to projects. Almost everybody else was reluctant. one of my favorite memories was how the tallest and supposedly athletic kid in class could not make a 8 foot away basketball hoop that was about 1/2 foot shorter than him. it was so funny how he kept missing when it should have been a piece of cake for him. I miss you all and because of social distancing i am going to paraphrase a quote from my favorite Hawaiian song, Aloha ‘oe. “one virtual social distancing embrace, ere I depart, until we meet again.”

also btw i learned how to play the song Aloha ‘oe on my new ukulele that I built my self
End of school Not as cool
when you think of the beginning of summer you think “yay I can leave school and do things like go to the park, public pool, even amusement parks.” well not this time. for the remainder of June everything will have to be in your house. so cancel all June activities cause the real summer ain’t starting until July.
Onward review
Disney has done it again. made a fantastic Pixar movie. but could this be the best one yet. or do classics like Toy Story and Monsters Inc. still take the lead. time for us to go on a quest to find the good, the bad, (and a few Easter eggs) of Pixar’s Onward.
lets start with the good. one thing that always amazes me is how the actors are Intune to what’s happening in the animation. its almost like they are watching the animation happen while recording the voice. they know exactly what kind of scream to do when the script says they need to scream. whether it be like someone about to e murdered or just a scream of frustration. not to mention they always sound as if the are actually talking to their fellow voice actors. I used to think that they all recorded together. it turns out in most animaions the actors don’t meet until the movie premiers!!! it is so crazy.
Also the animation team did an incredible job. animation really has gone a long way since the first toy story. I especially loved how incredible the invisible bridge scene was.
if you want to know all the Easter eggs in Pixar’s movie Onward, click on the video below. (note that I did not make this video. this was made by a youtuber known as Crazy Nate.)
WHY OUTER SPACE

With a new tom cruise movie on the rise, i think we should discuss the question on everyone’s mind (or at least MY mind,) Why outer space? why would Hollywood film something in such a dangerous location such as the international space station. maybe its because it will likely get more views. I don’t know if that is true because I have not seen a single mission impossible movie (I’ve seen an episode called mission totally possible though.) maybe its makes the it more believable than CGI. whatever the reason, tom cruise’s next great adventure is reaching for the stars (literally.)
life after the school shutdown
I’ve been up to a lot since the school shutdown. for starters i started a quarantine book club. it mainly me my brother and my stuffed animals LOL. right now we are going over a book called Super Chicken Nugget Boy and the Furious Fry.
Its a novel about a bullied kid named Fern who makes up a super hero based on his favorite food to stop being bullied. however while trying to trick the bully into believing said made up super hero is real by pretending to be Super Chicken nugget Boy, the bully chases after him. Fern ends up falling in a “grungy above the ground pool type thingy with green gooey liquid inside.” turns out the green gooey liquid was radioactive cooking oil making it so that every time Fern”s skin touches ketchup, he turns into a real Super Chicken Nugget Boy.
I’ve also started my own garden. it came in a fairy house shaped pot and a little toy fairy.
My cruise may have been cancelled but i have found a new way to go on vacation. I downloaded this game called Animal Crossing New Horizons. it takes place on your own private island. i’ve gotten very far in the game.

so thats what i’ve been up too. hope to see you guys next school year.
What’s in a name
hello fellow thespians.

You are probably wondering why I chose “Dawn of the Drama Llamas.”well I chose this name because 1:Llama rhymes with Drama and 2: I like llamas. They are so cute and fluffy. That or i’m Thinking about an alpaca. Any way I even have a stuffed llama unicorn. It smells like chocolate and is the color of cotton candy. My mom thinks it’s weird that it doesn’t smell like cotton candy. I named her Yuni.
